It sure is one heck of a mystery, is it not? It’s the human condition, and you have to make an efforts to help them and yourself grow up.

You are a human being, and as such you are subject to the same primal human anxieties as the rest of us–fear of starvation and homelessness, even if no such possibility exists. You could construct a palace equipped with golden toilets and a thousand metric tons of non-perishable foodstuffs, but you could still hear the wolf puffing at the door. You’ve got to wonder if it is even worth it to attempt to reestablish a meaningful contact with someone once the line has been cut. You are not at your best, however, when you are just floating about in your bubble, even if it does permit you your secret escapes and indulgences.
