Big Holiday people weekend in USA—a bit odd though. You get together with people you like or love—friends, colleagues or family that’s really great fun. It’s good to get to see everybody.
It doesn’t take too long, however, to wear thin. Their voices blur together. Their faces, too. Gradually it dawns on you how alone in the middle of this sea of strangers you really are. And zoom!
You’re back in your same old head, both utterly fascinated by and bored with yourself at the same time.
And when the gathering is over everybody tells everybody else what a good time they had.
