This is not always literal so you have to use your imagination, but this is the symbolic situation as the sun and Venus approach the conjunction in Scorpio:

an important concept in Buddhism, referring to “thirst, desire, longing, greed”, either physical or mental. It is typically translated as craving, and is of three types: kama-taṇhā (craving for sensual pleasures), bhava-taṇhā (craving for existence), and vibhava-taṇhā (craving for non-existence)

Isn’t it incredible? How it comes over you in a wave, when you least expect it and you’re not thinking about it all,right while you’re eating or playing Solitaire, or just sauntering down a street smelling the flowers and whistling and it hits you.
The enormity of a wrong that was done to you way back when , the one you forgave somebody for— or told yourself you did because you’re an evolved person,
but WHAMMO!!
And you don’t know what to do with the rage when you think of the level of deception or the coldness over the unjust treatment you received and were treated just like garbage.

Then the phone rings or the baby needs changing or a pal shows up at the door to take you bowling, and, thank God, it passes.
That’s also part of this Chiron transit,too.

Right when everything is an absolutely unholy mess and you think it couldn’t possibly get more complicated, the most ridiculously unlikely but cosmic thing happens.

During the last week of October the Sun approaches inferior conjunction with retrograde Venus.

The Universe blows in your ear, “Ok,Pal, maybe it’s crazy, maybe it’s fraught with melodramatic twists, maybe just a reaction to recent trip to 1983, maybe it can’t last, maybe you’re just going nuts, but, appropriate or not, forget your troubles for a minute, move over and make room in your heart.

If you’re true to yourself, not too cynical to make a fool of yourself once in a while, and can admit it, when Salome does that dance before the King, as they used to say in Brooklyn,

“fuggeddaboudit”.

You could feel an unusually scorching blast and hot spurt of pure, unexpurgated, unadulterated, what romantic fools call
L-O-V-E.
